Linda Porter and the HET team created the Willow Bridge - a real life animal sanctuary, Eco base and family retreat to support families in crisis.
For this they won a '2009 Rediscover your heart award for empowerment and inspiration of young people' .
The man who was in charge of the operation, however didn't want the HET team there anymore - as he had other plans which would be more profitable.
It is the aim of the HET Team to make all of the experiences they created available on line as an 'online vitual animal sanctuary' - See Ruby's page ( www.HETwebsite.com/ruby ) and an alternative curriculum for parents and children to follow together along their HET Journey. This will help to bridge the gap between school curriculum which may seem very noisy and intimidating environments to children with hypersensitivities and behavioural challenges
